A hoppy, chocolatey American Brown Ale with a touch of rye in the finish. This brew has won: 2011 PNA Winter Beer Taste People's Choice First Place, 2011 Skagit County Fair Best of Show; 2012 NHC 1st Round Second Place.

Calcium Chloride / gypsum addition in mash (2:1 ratio), with additional baking soda to correct ph.
